" Each person is UNIQUE", I stand boldly on this statement and find so much value in it. Every student that crosses paths with me is unique and has the capacity to learn and grow to accomplish all of their hearts desires both academic, and civil learning based.  I value student success, and believe in implementing programs that ignite new and creative ways for students to not only discover who they are but also that challenge and exchange ideas, foster and build relationships and conversations, as well as, leadership endeavors. My graduate course work at Western Kentucky University has allowed to grasp a better understanding of higher education and student affairs.

Social justice and inclusion are factors that make my heart beat, with the consistently developing demogrphic of todays " traditional student" it is vital that student affairs professional take heed in supplying safe spaces where all students feel that their voice is heard and that their needs are being met.

Administrate. Educate. Advocate and Motivate. As a student affairs professional it is important to me to always remember that we wear more hats than just as an administrator, we are here to be used as a vessel. One that educates beyond the traditional textbook, one that advocates that all students receive fair and equal education, and lastly one that motivates our student to be better than GREAT.
